Rule 4
Duties, Duties and Rights of Election Officer

(1) In addition to the duties, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in the Act and these regulations, other duties, duties and rights of the Election Officer shall be as follows:-
(a) To publish the election program published by the commission in his office and the relevant local level office,
(b) To publish or cause to be published in his office the list of polling stations received from the Commission,

(i) To monitor, inspect and supervise the polling work at the polling station on the day of polling,
(j) After the voting process is over, keep the ballot boxes received from the polling station at the designated place for counting, and keep them safe. (k) To count the votes after collecting the ballot boxes from all the polling stations of the respective local level (l) Announcing the election results after the counting of votes is over (d) After the completion of the election, to send the details of the results to the District or Regional Election Office, the Chief Election Officer and the Commission,
(d) Recording expenses and keeping accounts as mentioned in the local level election financial guidelines approved by the Commission (n) Conduct an internal audit of all election-related expenses and submit all related details to the relevant district or regional election office,
(p) Making necessary arrangements to make the election supervision orderly and dignified,
(h) Election program subject to prevailing legal provisions and orders or instructions given by the Election Commission from time to timeCompleting all tasks according to.
(2) The election officer appointed for the election of rural municipality or municipality shall also act as election officer for the election for women and Dalit or minority members of the respective village executive or city executive.
